Congress has just passed another short-term, two-month extension of the Highway Trust Fund, a critical funding source for our nation’s roads, bridges and transit systems. It is time for Congress to step up and give our nation’s transportation networks the certainty they need by passing a multi-year funding bill for transit systems across the nation.
