There’s no easier win for Congress than quick passage of a bill that invests in the nation’s roads, bridges and public transit. And the moment to go for it is now. The entire Illinois congressional delegation should get on board. On Saturday, the federal gasoline tax, the main funding source for transportation projects in every corner of the country, expires.
